Some say...

that LA is "only concrete." After being here more than a month, I beg to differ. While yes, there is a lot of concrete in this city, hello, what city doesn't have a lot? Kind of what makes it a city. LA has parks all over though, that are full of grass and trees. I walk near two when I go to work. Houses have green lawns, with trees and flowers all over. I mean, if you want to go to the beach, it's a 20 minute drive. If you want to go hike the canyons, it's a 20 minute drive the other way. And while walking around downtown on my day off, I walked by this...

I didn't mess with any of the colors. The flowers were that bright and vibrant. These flowers lined the fence of CBS studios. The last picture I know is all blurry, but it reminds me of a painting.

So to the people who say this city is only concrete, maybe they were looking in the wrong places?
