Rodeo Drive (for Irene)

Ok, so in all honesty, Rodeo Drive wasn't all it's cracked up to be. It was cool to see those stores, but I mean, the security guards at all the doors made you not even want to step near the door, let alone inside. Plus the street was just full of tourists. It took us maybe fifteen minutes to walk the whole thing. When we were done we were just like, "That's it?"

LA Adventure!

So, yesterday, Michael and I went on an adventure around LA. Here are some pictures I took a long the way.

That's Jim Henson's building on La Brea, notice Kermit on top?

Ha, okay, so we stalked some people's houses, Ryan Seacrest lives at the end of that road...

There's his gate. Don't judge.

Looking down over Universal in Burbank.

We thought Tree People were funny.

Okay, so we were driving all around these insane houses. Like this one. Look at the size of that pool, it's like a lake.

That house was made out of all tiles, it was weird.

Does that look familiar??

Kathy Griffin's house!!

Her gate...

Pretty cool house.

How cool, Buddy Holly Drive.

Sunset Tan, where they filmed their show. It's actually in this rather crappy looking strip mall, kind of funny.

Another huge ad on the side of a building.

"Beverly Hills, that's where I want to be, living in Beverly Hills"

Does that gate look familiar? It's the old Osbourne house where they filmed their show. Christina Aguilera lives there now.

Famous Beverly Hills hotel.

No idea who lives here, but isn't that house awesome? Man, to have millions of dollars.

The Dish taping!

So, last Friday, Michael and I went to a taping of the Dish! It airs on Style Network, similar to The Soup... more style related obviously. The taping was pretty fun.

Here's the set.

Those are all cell phones hanging from the ceiling. It's also a G4 studio.

I met Topanga!!

Ok, her name is actually Danielle Fischel. But we all know her as Topanga from Boy Meets World. She's actually really nice and really funny. Also, very short. In that picture, she's wearing high heels and I'm in flats, just for some perspective.

In case you needed a reminder of Boy Meets World.

Hancock Park...

So, I took these last week when I walked to Hancock Park during my lunch. We get an hour for lunch and I'm so used to 15 minute breaks that I'm done rather early. So, I just go walk around for the rest of my time. This park is literally right across the street from work.

It's the tar pits... smells like tar, not too cool. They excavate stuff out of there though.

There's the view of work from the park.
